Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ACCTAN Corp., a Delaware corporation ("we", "us"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use RaiseDeck (the "Service"). We aim to collect only what we need to run the product.

What we collect

Account data: your email address and, optionally, your name and marketing-consent preference.
Deck inputs & output: the form information you submit (company, problem, market, traction, etc.) and the decks we generate from it.
Payment data: processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We receive confirmation and a transaction reference; we do not store your full card number.
Usage & diagnostics: a record of key actions in the Service (for example: a deck was generated, exported, or purchased) is stored in our own database so we can operate the product, provide support, and handle refund requests. We do not currently use any third-party analytics or advertising services, and we do not track you across other websites.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary to run the Service. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies, so we do not show a cookie consent banner.

Sign-in session — keeps you signed in after you use a magic link. It is signed, HTTP-only, and expires automatically.
Draft deck access — lets you open the deck you just created before you have an account, so your work is not lost.
Preview access — used only while the site is in pre-launch, to let invited people view it.

You can delete cookies in your browser at any time; doing so will sign you out and may make an unclaimed draft deck unreachable. If we later add analytics or advertising cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

How we use it

To generate, store, export, and share your decks.
To sign you in via magic link and secure your account.
To process payments and provide receipts and support.
To send transactional emails (sign-in, deck-ready, receipts). We send marketing emails only if you opt in, and you can opt out at any time.
To improve reliability and the product experience.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your deck inputs or outputs to train AI models. Your inputs are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate your deck.

Sub-processors

We rely on a small set of service providers to operate: Railway (hosting & database), AWS S3 (file storage), Anthropic (AI generation), Stripe (payments), and Resend (transactional email). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service. If we add a provider that materially changes how your data is handled, we will update this list.

Data retention

We keep your account and decks while your account is active. Anonymous draft decks that are never claimed are deleted after 30 days. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us; we will action it within 30 days, subject to records we must retain for legal or accounting reasons.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@acctan.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including by the providers listed above. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), signed HTTP-only session cookies, single-use sign-in links, rate limiting, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
