Terms of Service

Effective August 20, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RaiseDeck (the "Service"), a product of ACCTAN Corp., a Delaware corporation ("we", "us", "our"). By creating a deck, signing in, or purchasing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

RaiseDeck uses AI to turn the information you provide into a 12-slide pitch deck that you can preview, download as an editable PowerPoint (.pptx) and PDF, and share via link. Output quality depends on the inputs you provide. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to purchase. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in email secure. We use passwordless magic-link sign-in; anyone with access to your email inbox can access your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Create content that is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or infringing.
  • Misrepresent facts, financials, or traction in a way intended to mislead investors or third parties. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of every claim in a deck you generate, edit, or distribute.
  • Abuse, overload, probe, or attempt to disrupt the Service or its rate limits.
  • Resell or white-label the Service without our written permission.

4. Your content & ownership

You retain ownership of the inputs you submit and the decks you generate. You grant us a limited license to process your inputs solely to operate the Service (generate, store, export, and share your decks). We do not sell your content and we do not use it to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy.

5. AI-generated output

Decks are generated by an automated language model and may contain errors, omissions, or placeholder text shown in [brackets]. Review and edit every deck before relying on it or presenting it. We make no warranty that output is accurate, complete, fit for fundraising, or suitable for any particular purpose.

6. Payment, plans & billing

Paid products are described on our Pricing page. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Taxes. Prices shown are exclusive of sales tax, VAT, GST and any similar taxes. Where we are required to collect such taxes based on your location, the amount is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay, and added to your total. If you are a business with a valid VAT, GST or equivalent registration number, you may enter it at checkout and it will be applied where the relevant rules allow. You are responsible for any taxes on your own income arising from your use of the Service.

The Pro plan is unlimited for your own fundraising use. It is not intended for reselling decks, agency or bulk generation on behalf of third parties, or automated or scripted use. We may suspend, rate-limit, or decline to renew accounts used in those ways.

7. Refunds

Decks are digital products delivered instantly. We offer a 7-day refund for technical defects or non-generation. Because you keep the downloaded file, downloading the unwatermarked .pptx or PDF constitutes acceptance of the product, and a working, downloaded deck is generally not refundable for a change of mind. Full details, including subscriptions and done-for-you, are on our Refund Policy page, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, funding outcomes, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the effective date above. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your data (see Privacy Policy).

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply. The courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to those same mandatory local protections.

11. Accessibility

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. If a disability prevents you from using any part of the Service, email contact@acctan.com and we will provide the same outcome by an alternative means at no extra cost. See our Accessibility Statement for current conformance status and known limitations.

12. Contact

Questions about these Terms: contact@acctan.com.

This document is provided for transparency and is not a substitute for legal advice. We are finalizing review with counsel and may revise it.
